Opportunities to explore and discover

Students build awareness about what engineers do through a variety of short, exploratory sessions led or supported by GE Aerospace engineers. These creative, hands-on activities in the classroom or community inspire young people and expand their understanding of what engineering is all about.

A transformative engineering experience

Do you live in Bengaluru and want the chance to think and act like an engineer? Apply to be in the Engineering Academy.

Engineering Academy is open to students who are in 11th Standard in a science Pre-University Course or in their first year of an engineering diploma program at an Industrial Training Institute (ITI). Students will apply for the Engineering Academy at the end of 10th Standard, and admissions into Engineering Academy will be confirmed at the beginning of 11th Standard or first year of ITI.

Over two years, students learn engineering skills and prepare for further education at a university. With over 180 hours over 2 years outside of school, the Academy includes a series of immersive design challenges, career coaching, and university-readiness workshops to equip youth with the skills they need to build an engineering career. Scholarships will be offered to eligible Next Engineers Academy graduates who pursue post-secondary engineering programs.
